CHS Visual Arts Program is a TAB classroom. This means the focus in classes is all about the creation process rather than the finished product. This approach fosters independence, creativity, and critical thinking, allowing students to engage deeply with their creative process. Students make original art using an artistic process known as the Artistic Thinking Process .​ With all this in mind, you might notice that student work isn't as refined as it could be if each person was copying the teacher's process, instead they  identify what skills they need to improve and they practice. No one is perfect the first time they do something, but even so, their artwork is stunning!
