I​n this project, you will create a final portfolio using Google Slides, Canva, Wix, or Google Sites that documents the projects you completed and learning that took place this semester.

Step 1: Collect your Projects

Get out ALL of the projects from your time in Art. If you have forgotten what you made, check Google Classroom and look through your old assignments.​

Using your phone or chromebook, take a GOOD photo of each project. ​

Step 2: Build your Portfolio
It's time to build your portfolio! Decide if you will use Google Slides, Canva, Wix, or Google Sites. Then find the tutorial below and get started. Here is everything you need to include:​

a list of materials for each project

Title of the artwork
-
Your name somewhere
-
An artist statement (this will be the next step)

Step 3: Write your Artist Statement

Use the Artist Statement Flow Chart or the questions on the left to help guide you in writing your artist statement.

Open a new Google Doc
-
Write until you have at least 4 sentences.
-
Proof Read your work.
-
Ask someone else to proofread your work.
-
When you are done, copy and paste it onto the last slide in your Artist Portfolio.
Tips on How to Write your Artist Statement
Write an artist statement that covers your body of work using google docs, google slides, or handwrite your statement with your best handwriting on lined piece of paper.

Does anything about your life inspire what you make art about?

Step 4: Edit Your Portfolio
